How do I get an estimate?
Call (503) 897-0958 or send the estimate form. John comes out, looks at the job and gives you the bid himself. Quotes are free.
How long does a driveway take?
Many driveways are done in a day. On one job, cutting away an uneven edge, grading and packing the gravel and paving took the crew about six hours.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Oregon CCB #237762, bonded and insured.
How thick is a new driveway?
On a gravel driveway we lay three inches of asphalt.
Does my old driveway have to come out?
Not always. If the base under it is still good, resurfacing can give you a new surface without tearing it out. John will tell you which one it needs.
Do you do commercial work?
Yes. Parking lots, entrances and industrial sites: new paving, resurfacing, repairs, sealcoating and striping. Commercial paving comes with a one-year guarantee.
Where do you work?
Homes and businesses from Portland to Vancouver, in Oregon and Washington.
What kind of asphalt do you use?
We pave with recycled asphalt.
What are regrinds?
Recycled asphalt, ground up and laid down again, then rolled firm. They’re used for driveways and parking areas.
My driveway has water problems. Can you help?
Yes. Water pooling and poor drainage are common reasons driveways break down. Point them out when John comes to bid the job.
Can you pave a sport court?
Yes, on its own or as part of a bigger job with the driveway and parking areas.
